This is a free swishmax component for swishmax2 which creates a 3d flash carousel.

3DCarousel – allows you to easily create and simulate a 3d carousel from images and items in your swishmax project. You can customize behaviors, colors and each item to act differently (with the new extended version).
This component is constantly in development, so your impressions and comments may help us develop it to a better component for your needs.

Help and Instructions
Parameters for this component can be customized through the “Parameters” window:
when hovering with the mouse over each parameter – a description will pop out to explain what it is.
Within the group of “Item Settings” – you can customize parameters related to the item that has been chosen (sphere in this example) for the carousel. You can define the amount of items, speed, size etc.
Within the group of “Item Actions” you can define customized functions to be invoked when pressing the sphere or rolling over them. You can also customize the nice glow effect when hovering a sphere.
Currently, for manipulating the carousel for loading different images for each sphere – you’ll to use script. You can also assign different actions for each item in the carousel – again – using script. This version of the component includes an extended version of an asset that can load external images to display instead of the sphere.
The item can be accessed by pressing the Content tab and entering the “carouselltem” object. You can use your own custom item – and if so – will have to update the parameter of “myItem” to load your customized item.
